Welcome to Shortgrass Library System
Shortgrass provides regularly scheduled deliveries of purchased materials, interlibrary loans, and circulating collections to member public libraries as well as contracted partners. The deliveries include correspondence, promotional materials, announcements, reports, etc.
Instead of using elastics & sticky notes to hold together and label multiple items destined for the same library, library staff can simply place these items into a red Shortgrass courier bag and zip it shut. Large numbers of items going to a specific library should still be placed in a separate bin, rather than in bags. Each bag has a little pocket window where a card with the destination library can be placed. Shortgrass will provide special cards for this purpose. If you require more destination tags, please contact Shortgrass Acquisitions to request more.
